I am very pleased with our choice to start our daughter at Ekims. Mike is a great Sensei. Our daughter loves learning from him. I couldn't be any more pleased. With this choice came a gift for our whole family. Our daughter is becoming more disciplined in all aspects of her life. We get to come to class and enjoy watching her learn. It is even bringing us more close as a family. What a life changing choice. Thank you Mike. You're a great person.

My nephew who lived in Moline IL, took Karate lessons from Master Mike Smith @ Ekim's Karate, (he finished with his black belt). Before he started training, he was shy and mostly intraverted. As he began to progress in his training, we saw a different person. A happier, more confident person. He was out going, he held himself differently. we all were excited for him. Now he is a very sucessful Instructor for a Major University. I am very proud of him. We are thankful for the training that Master Mike Smith provided to him. We feel it was a blessing. Thank you Master Mike Smith.
