Marques Harrison

Marques is 10 years old. Yes that's right 10 years old and if you have the opportunity to watch him you will leave thinking this is a kid to keep an eye on. Harrison received his black belt this year.
His friends call him Marky-Mark the minute he puts those gloves on he is "Marvelous Marques Harrison". Born to Donald and Charlotte Harrison of East Moline, IL. His siblings include a brother Mykael and sister Breana. Marques attends grade school at Glenview Gold.

The Harrisons put Marques into Karate when he was 6 1/2 years old. His small size attributed to their decison.

Marques trains 2-3 hours a day 4days a week his diet of "lots of fruit, pizza and milk" and an attitude that his job everyday is to be a kid and get it done right is working for the young man!
He hits hard quick and fast. Harrison is a defensive fighter that keeps light on his feet delivering quick snap punches.
When asked how he does it he simply states. "I don't give up." That strategy has given him his biggest accomplishments thus far 2006 IFK Regional Champ and runner up in Junior Featherweight Championship.
